Brief Review: Abhay Deol is a bored Engineer who instead prefers to write detective novels and take bribes at work. As if a detective novel write wouldn't be smart enough he gets caught and gets suspended. No wonder he is a flop writer and his book Manorama fails to hit the bookshelves.
Somehow he gets acquainted with the wife of a corrupt rich politician, who offers him money to keep an eye on her husband. Deol has no idea what he has signed up for and unravels one mystery after the other. What was the motive behind the lady's generous assignment ? Did he just sign up for more trouble ? Is the lady telling him the truth ? And why are people now after his life ? He has just 2 clues to begin with:
1] The name of this lady is also Manorama
2] And her age is 32.
Overall, a good movie and decent plot but rather slow. There are no songs and the story is shot with a small village background. Abhay Deol is lackluster .. they could have tried a better cast and added some colors or songs to the movie. In this regard this is not the usual Bollywood movie but worth a watch for the script. Enjoy the Rajasthani moustaches.
