Brief Review: We got to see Saawariya over the weekend at Leena's place. Good that we were watching in a group and hence we could entertain ourselves by passing comments otherwise this would have received a still lower rating.
This is a very very basic story with practically no twists. The sets, artwork is nice but the lack of a good story makes the film pretty hollow. On top of that 10+ songs. Ranbir and Sonam Kapoor are still new and I would reserve my judgement on them until they release some other films. In this film they are not exactly earth-shattering material.
As most other reviews on the web say it, so do I. "What was SLB thinking?"
Is he going the Ram Gopal Varma way and the Dev Anand way?
