Cricket World Cup 2015 – KV Friendly Betting Pool (Team Based)

We have done this in 2007 and 2011. So time to continue the tradition. Have a fun betting pool for the Cricket World Cup.

Contributions: 5$ (paypal to shahprashant@yahoo.com)

Rules:
1 point each for correct selection of teams in Quarter Finals.
3 points each for correct selection of the teams in Semi Finals.
6 points each correct selection of the Two teams who will make the finals
10 points for correct selection of the winner!

1 bonus point for predicting the range of total runs scored (both teams combined) in the finals. Valid Ranges are : 251-300, 301-350, 351-400, 401-450 and so on.

1 bonus point for predicting the range of total wickets (both teams combined) to fall in the finals. Valid Ranges are: 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20.

1 bonus point for predicting the range of total catches (both teams combined) in the finals. Valid Ranges are: 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20.

Add a comment to this post with your selections for each of those categories.

You can choose completely different teams for each category. For example even if you have chosen West Indies and Pakistan for Finals, you can choose Australia for the winner.

Prizes : 3
60% of the pool to the winner in points
30% of the pool to the runner up in points
10% of the pool to the third place in points

Notes:
1) If there is a tie on the number of points at any position (first, second, third) the reward will be split equally by the number of people at that position. So if 3 people have highest points at 25 and one person has second highest points at 20 then 60% of the total pool will be divided among first 3 and second highest person person in points will get 30% all to himself.
2) There will be 3 winning points positions declared. (example, 25, 23, 18). There could be any number of people at those winning points position. As noted above, rewards will be split in that case.
3) Only open to members of kutchvalley. No outsiders.

You can use the first comment as an example.

All entries need to be in before the start of the world cup.

Here are the groups for the world cup.
