Parul was keen on doing something for Holi at her apartment complex’s terrace. On the weekend of March 18/19 (Sat or Sun). Her thoughts were :
1) playing with some colors on terrace
2) some games on terrace
3) Lunch from outside (Chole-Puri)
4) Contribution of about 5$ from attendees based on what all expenses are incurred.
Based on the interest level shown by the KV janta this event will proceed under the guidance of the Gala family (Sanjay and Parul). :-). As long as at least 7-8 families show interest, this event will go ahead.
Parul was fine with hosting it either SAT (Mar 18) or SUN (Mar 19). I agreed to initiate the discussion and post an article to gather interest level. If enough people are interested then Parul will take over.
So indicate your interest via commenting on this post. Any other suggestions about possible activities on that day are also welcome. Happy Holi.
We dont mind celebrating Holi twice. 🙂 (First one at Sunnyvale temple on Mar 11, Second one at the Galas on Mar 18/19). We (Prashant, Dimple, Komal, Kairavi) are IN for this one as well. We are fine with SAT or SUN.

Guys, I checked the weather forecast for this Saturday, it looks like its going to be partly cloudy and temperature will be 60F(high). So I am wondering if we could move the plan to the following Saturday which is the 25th ???

Oops! 25th wont work either, its the girls day out.
So looks like we would have to CANCEL IT. The weather is not looking great for an outdoor event.
